Kids Interactive





This is a fantastic new area and has been developed with the Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living.

There will be loads of interactive and educational fun for kids of all ages. There will be demonstrations and hands on activities throughout the show.

Come along and try:

Little Explorers; Caring for chooks, composting, worm farms, kite flyng, play dough, cooking, food preparation, landscaping and horticulture, floristry and things about sustainability

Paddock to Plate: Approximately six High School students look after this and is an exciting and popular area.

Where our food and clothing comes from?

Learn all about grains; from rice, wheat, oats, barley and other wonderful grains

Learn all things cotton

From the plant, to bolls, what does the cotton look like before processing, during and after a finished item of clothing.

All things about wool –learn about sheep and alpacas. See the wool before processing, how a loom works, what is weaving and right through to a finished items of clothing.

Friday of the show is “community day” with over 3,000 school students visiting the Show. These are both primary and high school students.
